Sharen D. Hill

Sharen went home to be with our Lord on December 18, 2010 at home surrounded by her family. She is survived by her mother, Linda Hill; her beloved dog, Gunner; sister, Pamela (James) Leavey; brother, John Hill; twin sister, Karen (Oscar) Hill; sisters, Sara Kellogg and Jennifer Davis; beloved friend to Viola Ewell; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, all from Spokane. Sharen was most happy when she was taking care of her family. Though Sharen never had children of her own, she was always there for anyone who needed her, especially being a surrogate mother to her nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends. All of her surrogate children will forever remember Sharen's love and generosity. Her family and friends knew her to be the one they could always count on, a shoulder to cry on, and her giving of valuable advice when needed. The family cannot express enough special thanks to Dr. Dianne Danly and Dr. Didier, her primary care doctors, also to Lynette, Gary and Saveta from Hospice of Spokane for your exquisite care and love they showed Sharen near and at the end. The world lost a living angel when Sharen left us. We will all love and miss you everyday of our lives. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 beginning at 2:00PM at Riplinger Funeral Home 4305 N. Division Spokane, WA.
