Anna Marie Anderson

ANDERSON, Anna Marie (Age 88) - August 19, 1922 - December 30, 2010. Anne entered into rest on the beautiful winter morning of December 30, 2010. She joined her parents, William and Mary (Rosch) Weston; her sister, Margaret; and her brother, Jim. We, who are left behind, include her husband of 63 years, Robert; daughters, Marcia (Larry) Vance and Marilyn Anderson; son, Robert (Debbie) Anderson; granddaughters, Kathy (Brandon) Matsuda and Kris (Tim) Morones; great grandchildren, Nicole and Aaron Matsuda, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. Anna Marie graduated from Holy Names Academy in Spokane in 1940, and from Holy Names College in 1944. She worked for several years as a medical technologist and was an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. Mom loved music. She sang with her church choir and played the organ as well as the piano. She also enjoyed traveling and a good game of Bridge. Special thanks to the staff at Fairwood Assisted Living and Manor Care for their help and compassion. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 3rd from 12 Noon to 4:30 PM at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME, 4305 N. DIVISION, SPOKANE, WA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 4418 N. Jefferson St., Spokane. Remembrances may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 1104 W. Heroy, Spokane, WA 99205 or to the Sisters of the Holy Names, 2911 W. Ft. George Wright Dr. in Spokane or to a charity of one's choice.
