Iva I. Klein

Iva Irene Klein (age 91) entered into rest on February 28, 2011. She was born on November 7, 1919 in Melbourne, Iowa. Iva was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She graduated from Marshaltown, Iowa high school in 1934. In 1938, she married her loving husband of 50 years, John Wallace Klein. John preceded Iva in death in 1988. Iva enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening, but most of all her grandchildren and family. She was a lifetime member of the PTA in California, and a charter member of San Lorenzo Baptist Church. Iva is survived by her son, David (Christina) Klein of Elk Grove, CA; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services and urn placement will be conducted at the Lone Tree Cemetery 24591 Fairview Ave. Hayward, CA beginning at 10AM on March 11, 2011. In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions be made in Iva’s name to the American Heart Association.
