Thelma "JEAN" Anderson

Thelma “Jean” (Downey) Anderson age 82 Passed away peacefully in her sleep March 29th, 2011, in Spokane, WA. She was preceded in death by husband Erik Anderson in 1991. Survived by her son David Anderson of Snohomish , daughter Ingrid (Jeff) Kinder of Spokane, grandsons Kyle, Brian and Jeffery Kinder, brothers David “Bud” Downey and Terry Downey, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jean graduated from Rogers HS and except a few years living in San Francisco, has lived her whole life in Spokane. Jean worked for Standard Oil, Data Processing Services, Cominco, and sold Avon for many years. Jean was a very generous person, giving to many charities, and dedicating her life to taking care of her family above all else. Memorial will be held at a later date. Donations in Jean’s name can be made to Union Gospel Mission, Humane Society, Nat. Wildlife Federation, Red Cross or the Salvation Army. Please sign the online memorial at www.riplinger.com.
