Bill M. Womble crossed over April 30, 2011. Born September 4, 1946 in Houston, TX, Bill lived most of his youth in Spokane and graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1964. He continued his education at ESU where he became the President of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He received his advance degree at the Seattle University. He was an accomplished photographer, SCUBA diver, back-packer and traveler. After retiring from his career with Western Allied Systems due to his progressive disability, he returned to live in Spokane with his wife in 2002. Bill had a keen, scientific and creative mind. His youth was filled with an abundance of fun and a dash of folly and he had an endless repertoire of detailed accounts of his many adventures. His personality was pleasant and easy and he was charming and funny in a light-hearted, genuine way. He was capable of great wisdom and the ability to articulate and share it with those fortunate enough to be close to him. He loved his brother, wife, and family fully and deeply and was a loyal and honest friend. He crossed-over peacefully and fearlessly. We will all miss him. Bill is survived by his wife, Bonnie; his brother, Mark; and his nieces, Kristina and Marissa. Bill’s wish was to have no viewing or services. Please take a moment to remember a special time with him and know that he believed that long after his weary body was gone, his Life Force would continue on in every living thing around us. Like a steadfast friend…’he will look for us on the other side’. Thank you to those who stayed close during these difficult years and held him in your thoughts and prayers.
