Charles E. “Chuck” Keller was born in Dickinson, ND and entered into rest at his home with his boots on, where he wanted to be. He graduated from St. Patrick’s grade school in Dickinson, ND in 1962 and Charles Francis Adams High School in Clarkston, WA in 1966. Chuck worked construction until he was injured on the job. He then attended Bill Long Saddle Making School, and later opened “Chuck’s Saddle Shop”. Chuck was a stockman at Stockland Stockyards, and at Playfair Race Track, he ponied horses. He was a gentleman rancher, horse trainer, creative carpenter, and a fantastic neighbor with the best stories and BBQ’s! Chuck enjoyed rodeos, bull and bronc riding, camping, and fishing. He is survived by his loving wife Patt; children, Corey Keller, Carey Farnsworth, Tracey Thompson, Kirstin Kendall, India DeKanter; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; remaining siblings, John and Vi Keller, Joe and Susan Keller, P.E. and Lulu Keller; Janice and Virgil Feist, Jackie and Lee Bumpus, and Christine Kubas. Little ones lovingly called him “Cowboy Chuck”. He will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
