Ruth A. Hart

Ruth A. Hart (age 85) entered into rest on May 16, 2011. She was born on February 15, 1926 to parents Archie and Alice Johnson in Baudette, Minnesota. Ruth graduated from Baudette High School in 1944. She met and married her loving husband of over 50 years, Gordon D. Hart and together they raised their three children. Gordon preceded her in death in 2000. Ruth worked as a switchboard operator for the City of Spokane for many years, before retiring in 1981. She enjoyed square dancing, cake decorating, and working in her rose garden. Ruth is survived by her children, Don (Rita) Hart, Shirley (John) Riley, and Bradley Hart; four grandchildren all of Spokane; brother, Ralph Johnson of California; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial donations may be made in Ruth's name to the Spokane Guild School 2118 W. Garland, Spokane, WA 99205 or to the Spokane Humane Society, Box 6247 Spokane, WA 99217-0906. A memorial service will begin at 2:00PM on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME 4305 N. DIVISION, SPOKANE, WA .
