Joseph Gerald Rutherford

RUTHERFORD, Joseph Gerald (age 82) – Entered into rest on June 1, 2011. A native of Spokane, Joe worked as a heavy equipment mechanic and operator. A member and Past Master of Tyrian Masonic Lodge #96 since 1956, Joe also served as Master of Kadosh of the Scottish Rite Consistory-Valley of Spokane. He also was a member of El Katif Shriners, the Spokane Valley Shrine Club, the Moonshriners, the American Legion Post #110, Eagles Aerie #2, and the Moose Lodge #161. Joe is survived by his longtime friend, Walt Holderman. Visitation will be on Friday and Saturday, June 3rd and 4th, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 4305 N DIVISION, SPOKANE, WA. Graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, June 6, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Greenwood Memorial Terrace Cemetery with Rose Croix officiating.
