Erma Pearl Bueghly

October 16, 1915 — June 21, 2011

Erma Pearl Bueghly passed away June 21, 2011. She was born on October 16, 1915 in Atchison County, Kansas to Pearl and Merton Winchester. Erma had a very full life with many challenges along the way. During World War II, she was a “Rosey the Riveter” while her husband, the father of her four children, served in the U.S. Navy. After the war, they moved west and she became a nurse registered in Washington, California, and Minnesota. Erma retired in 1975 after 20 years of nursing. She and her second husband, Keith Bueghly, moved from Minneapolis, MN to Loon Lake, WA after retirement. Erma was a member of the Christian Church in Loon Lake. Her husband, Keith, preceded her in death in 2004. She had three sisters and six brothers, who have also preceded her in death. Erma is survived by her four daughters, Betty Anderson of Gold Canyon, AZ, Pearl Brundige of Nine Mile Falls, WA, Kathy Mitchell of Arco, ID, and Linda Bakken of Spokane; two stepchildren, Rodney Bueghly and Pamela Olsen of Loon Lake; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held 10:00AM Saturday, July 9, 2011 at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY 4305 N. Division Spokane, WA with interment at Spokane Memorial Gardens.
