LEMAY, Roland Joseph (age 74) – Entered into rest on July 11, 2011 in Spokane, WA, where he has lived for over 44 years. Born on November 2, 1936, in Woonsocket, R.I. to Gerald and Rose (Craig)LeMay, Roland was raised and attended schools there. He served in the U.S. Army, and moved to Spokane in 1968. Roland worked as Lead Man for Columbia Lighting for over 40 years, where he was highly respected by his employees. Roland enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to hunt and go camping. He is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Raymond LeMay, Linda Motyl, Debbie Small, and Richard LeMay all of Rhode Island, and Todd Stump of Spokane; stepchildren, Simone Wolfe and Shane Troump; three brothers, Victor LeMay of R.I., Lucien (Carol) LeMay, and Normand (Susie) LeMay , of the Spokane area; one sister, Rachel LeVasseur; two half sisters; 12 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; two Godchildren, Teri Dashiell and Ron LeMay; and by his beloved dog, Angel. Memorial service and Military Honors will take place on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 2:00 PM at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME, 4305 N DIVISION, Spokane, WA.
