Leacil Roy Nix

Leacil R. Nix (Age 84) - Born April 23, 1927 in Russellville, Alabama; entered into rest August 2, 2011 in Spokane, Washington. Leacil is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margaret (Reeder) Nix; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Jerry Comer; grandson, Brandon Comer; and granddaughter, Tyees Cardwell all of Spokane. Mr. Nix was a Spokane area resident for over 60 years. Leacil served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He worked as an custodian for the LDS Church, maintaining the building and grounds before retiring in 1997. A very thoughtful and selfless man who will be forever remembered and greatly missed, with a sense of humor that would brighten anyone's day. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. We love you! Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00pm at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 4305 N. DIVISION, SPOKANE, WA. and one hour prior to his service at the Shiloh Hills LDS Church. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 8, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Shiloh Hills LDS Church, 808 E. Sitka, Spokane. Interment will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.
