Alice Marie Hauff

Alice M. Hauff(age 80) passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 29, 2011. Alice came to Spokane in 1965 from Raleigh-Flasher, North Dakota. During her working years, Alice worked as a social worker, a chef, but her most important job of all was wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. Alice is survived by her loving husband, Joe Hauff; sons, Charles Volk of Nine Mile, WA,Wilbert Kuntz of Bismarck, ND, Darold Hauff of Spokane, WA, Col. Gordon Kuntz of Hayes, KS, Ronald Kuntz of Anoka, MN, and Len Kuntz of Snohomish, WA; sisters, Anna Volk of Flasher, ND, and Virginia Ternes of NV; brothers, Leander Ternes of Post Falls, ID, and Raymond Ternes of Portland, OR; 21 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. Special thanks to Hospice of Spokane and At Home Care. Thank you very much, you are wonderful people. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 2 and Thursday, November 3 from 9:00 AM – 8:00PM at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY 4305 N. DIVISION in Spokane. A “Celebration of Life” will begin at 10:00AM Friday, November 4 at Riplinger Funeral Home followed by interment at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
