Marian J. Dierks

Marian J. Dierks (age 69) entered into rest on November 11, 2011 at her home in the Spokane Valley. She was born on August 12, 1942 to parents Loren and Eva Middleton in Spokane. Marian attended Riverside High School in Chattaroy. She worked as a waitress, cook, and baked for several establishments, nursing homes, and retirement homes. She married her loving husband James D. Dierks in 1985 and they spent 26 wonderful years together. Marian enjoyed planting flowers, cross word puzzles, traveling, fishing, and going to her grandchildren’s soccer, baseball games, and “Hoopfest” every year. Marian is survived by her husband, Jimmy; mother, Eva Middleton of Spokane; daughters, Lana Wacenske of Lafaria, TX, and Jodi Wacenske of Portland, OR; son, Scott (Mindy) Wacenske of Spokane; daughters, Laura Dierks of Palm Beach, FL, and Elizabeth Zwarg of Spokane; 11 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Private urn placement will take place at a later date..
