Thelma Mae (Bryant) Barker Went to be with the Lord on December 10, 2011. Thelma was born in Spokane, WA on April 14,1926 and grew up in Minnesota and California before settling back in Spokane, raising her family and working for Sears Roebuck Co. She married Jack Barker in 1971, and they moved to Pasco, WA and settled in Othello, WA. before returning again to Spokane. Thelma loved the theatre and singing, and was an active member in the Othello Community Theatre, the community choir and church choir. She loved to travel, sew, cross-stich and knit, and enjoyed all types of games and solving puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Hazel Bryant, brothers Vaughn (Laverne) Bryant, Gary Bryant and a sister, Donna (Rawson) Lee. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Jack E. Barker, daughters Jennifer Horn (Tony Angelo), Cynthia Culnane, Patricia Williams, Becky (Mike) Fontenot, and sons, Dana (Lori) Cargile, Steve (J.J.) Barker, Phillip (Judy) Barker, David (Jacque) Barker, 20 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Memorial service in her honor will be held at Riplinger Funeral Home and Cremation, 4305 N. Division in Spokane, on Saturday, December 17th at 10:00 a.m.
