Daniel C. McNeal

McNeal, Daniel C. I (age 76) went to be with the Lord Jesus on January 3, 2012. Dan was born in Anderson, Indiana on November 1, 1935. He moved to Spokane in 1953. Dan worked as an installer for Western Electric (currently Century Link) for 26 years, before retiring. He stayed active as a golf enthusiast and enjoyed youth sports. After a paralyzing accident in 1981, Dan remained busy developing his Chattaroy property. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Gail; son, Daniel II; daughters, Johanna Gallegos and Carla Dorscher; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Daniel was a caring and loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed. Donations may be made in Dan’s name to the American Cancer Society or to the The Spinal Cord Society. Visitation will be from 9:00AM – 5:00PM on Saturday, January 7th and Monday, January 9th at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY 4305 N. DIVISION SPOKANE, WA. A “Celebration of Life” will begin at 10:00AM Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at the funeral home followed by interment at Spokane Memorial Gardens.
