Doris M Speicher

Doris May Speicher passed away peacefully on January 1, 2012. Doris was born on August 30, 1926 to Andrew and Anna Pearson in Minneapolis, MN. She moved to Spokane in 1951 and married George E. Speicher in 1952. Doris and George raised their four children, daughter Tami and son’s Tracy, Tim and Terry. Doris is dearly loved by her family. She was a treasured wife, mother and grandmother. Her beautiful face, youthful demeanor, funny personality, kindness and strength will be deeply missed. Doris was an avid reader, impeccable homemaker, exquisite seamstress and elaborate dollhouse builder. She is survived by her husband, George; daughter, Tami Pogue (Robert); son, Tim Speicher; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Harris, Lolo Southerling; and dear family friend, Jan Gustafson. Doris is preceded in death by sons, Tracy Speicher and Terry Speicher; her parents Andrew and Anna Pearson; and twelve of her siblings. At Doris’s request services will be private.
