Thelma Mae Toombs

TOOMBS, Thelma Mae (age 96) – Entered into rest on Feb 24th, in Spokane, where she lived for over 75 years. She worked in the Display Dept. of Sears for over 20 years. Thelma is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Jackie Toombs; by her daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Paul Lowry all of Spokane; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A family graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Fairmount Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, her family would appreciate memorials be made to Eden Care, c/o Riverview Care Center, 1841 E Upriver Dr., Spokane, WA 99207. Thelma’s family sends their thanks and gratitude to the staff of Riverview Care Center, for their warmth, caring, and for making Thelma genuinely feel at home.
