WEBB, Douglas A. September 16th 1935-February 28th 2012 Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grand-father, uncle, brother and friend left this world but not our hearts on February 28th, 2012. He was born in Weaverville, CA and moved to Idaho as a young boy, and later moved to Spokane and attended John Rogers High School. In 1954 he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and was stationed in Japan. In 1957 while living in California he met and married Ethel May Reynolds and started a family. In 1962 he moved back to Spokane to raise his family. As a professional sales person he spent the next 50 years working for various businesses such as WT Grants, Western Business Office Supply, Imperial Data, and Comp U Charge Office Supply where he was still actively selling. Douglas is survived by his wife of 54 years Ethel; brother Francis (Connie); his children: Pat, Gunner (Rolanda), Danny (Dianna), and Doreen (Brent); his grandchildren: Jennifer (Nick), Jillian, Rocky (Kristy), and Ryan and great-grandson Jaxson; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was very supportive of his grandchildren, his favorite things to do were to attend hockey and soccer games for his grandsons, go camping, and attend Oktoberfest in Leavenworth. He had a standing date on Friday nights to shoot pool and drink beer at The Globe with many friends. Douglas will be remembered for his infectious laugh, great stories, welcoming personality and loving heart. Celebration of his life will be held Saturday, March 3rd, 2012, at 2pm at Riplinger Funeral Home, 4305 N Division.
