Corinne Lenore Breeden (June 5, 1926 to March 23, 2012) was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She was a woman of her generation in so many ways. She was proud to serve her country as a civil servant, working as a dental hygienist at an Army Air Corp Base in Sioux Falls during World War II. She moved to Spokane at age 20 and married Lloyd Breeden. She continued to work in Spokane until Lloyd finished college, then they started a family. For 62 years, Corinne devoted herself to the care and happiness of her husband and her three children, Gloria Lynn Staudinger, Linda Louise Breeden-Bradley and Thomas Eugene Breeden and two grandchildren, Ian and Graham. She cooked every meal, volunteered at school, and sewed many beautiful clothes-even our wedding dresses. She loved to knit, crochet and cross-stitch. Once a week, she went bowling. Even when she began to loose her sight, her bowling mates insisted she keep at it. She is survived by her two daughters and their families who loved her dearly. At her request there will be no memorial service.
