Roy W. Johnson

JOHNSON, Roy W. (1925 - 2012) - Roy was born on May 9, 1925 in Spokane, WA; entered into rest October 28, 2012 in Spokane Valley, WA. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Betty A. Johnson (Alexander) and son, Richard A. Johnson in 1996. He is survived by three children, Sharon A. Smith (Dan) of Santa Fe, NM, JoAnne M. Blumel (Joseph) of Spokane, WA and Michael T. Johnson of Post Falls, ID; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Roy started his career in home building and moved into owning and operating American Boat Company. He loved Priest Lake, his family started vacationing at Priest Lake in 1906, purchasing their cabin in 1916, so this became home away from home. A memorial will be held at Priest Lake at a later date.
