Jason I. Reis (age 37) entered into rest on December 3, 2012, and was a lifelong resident of Spokane. He was born June 30, 1975, in Holland, Michigan, the son of Robert and Sharon (Dark) Reis. He attended Mead schools and graduated from Mead High School in 1993, where he was a member of the Mead High School Band and Drama. He then went on to graduate from the Western Culinary Institute, Portland. He was currently enrolled at Spokane Community College. Jason is survived by his parents, Robert and Sharon Reis of Spokane; his brother, Sean Reis (Alicia) of Spokane; nephew, Kyle Reis; niece, Kayla Reis; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ira and Eleanor Dark of Lacrosse, WA and Stanley and Phyllis Reis, Cincinnati, OH, and his beloved dog Hannah. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Riplinger Funeral Home and Crematory in Spokane. A private memorial will be held on December 14, 2012 at the Lacrosse Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the Spokane Humane Society.
