Paul Jacob Buchhorn

October 17, 1925 — December 28, 2012

Paul Buchhorn was born October 17, 1925 in Hayward, California and passed away December 28, 2012 in Spokane, Washington. He was a retired career steamfitter and enjoyed lifelong residence in the Newman Lake community. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and saw action in the South Pacific. For over 50 years he was a Mason as well as a member of the Shriner’s Palomino Patrol. Paul is survived by his wife Vivienne, Kathy Howell, Colleen Baker, Judy and Gary Long, Diana and Bill Swope, Kristi and Ralph King, 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, a sister Lydia, and nieces Ann Ross and Sharon Pearson. On January 10, at 2:00 a memorial service will be held in the Mausoleum at the Pines Cemetery, 12116 E 16th Spokane Valley. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shirner’s Children’s Hospital.
