Alice May (Fulton) Rodgers

October 27, 1921 — January 27, 2013

Rodgers, Alice May (Fulton) peacefully passed away at her home of 60 years on January 27, 2013. She was the daughter of John and Agnes Fulton and was born on October 27, 1921 in Priest River, ID. Alice graduated from Priest River High School in 1939. She attended the University of Idaho, graduating in May, 1944. Alice worked at St. Lukes Hospital in Spokane, where she met Charles (Jim) Rodgers. Alice and Jim were married for 46 years before Jim’s passing in 1998. In August of 1960, she became the Food Service Director at Central Valley School District until her retirement in October of 1981. Alice is survived by her two sons, John and Leo Rodgers; six grandchildren, Jake, Kara, Leo, Tom, Carl and Alexander; and great-great granddaughter, Hanna. Her passage is preceded by the loss of her parents; her brother, Lester; and her husband, Jim. A memorial service will begin at 1:00PM on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY 4305 N. DIVISION SPOKANE, WA.
