Peterson-Redwine, Nannette M. “NAN” (age 53) – Entered into rest on April 25, 2013 in Spokane, WA. Born in Massena, NY to Warren and Lydia Bodah, Nan and her family lived in a variety of places as her father’s job took them to numerous construction sites. The family settled in Lewiston, ID, where Nan attended local schools and graduated from Lewiston High School. She worked various waitress jobs and also discovered her gift for caregiving. She married and her son, Adam joined the Bradley family. With life’s twists and turns, Nan and Adam found themselves alone. In time, their lives were intertwined with a new Dad for Adam and through the years this new family was blessed with two more sons, Zach and Josh Dickson. Their family traveled to Arkansas, Oregon, and Alaska for work. Nan and her boys finally returned to Washington State and found roots in Spokane. Nan had a unique gift for growing plants. She had a true green thumb. She was happy that her sons also found lives in Spokane and were close. Nan loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She had a knack for cooking and enjoyed yard sales. An exceptional singer, Nan loved all kinds of music and if it had a beat, she danced to it. She also played the clarinet for fun. She is preceded in death by her father, two infant daughters: Yvette and Emily, and by her special companion-her dog, Sara. Nan is survived by her husband, Jim Redwine “Red”; her sons, Adam Bradley and his partner, Jeff Barnes, Zach Dickson and his wife, Heather, and Josh Dickson and his wife, Beth; her parents, Lydia and Ronald Hosmer; her sisters, Jill (Kim) Berg and Julie (Sev) Ndoumy; brothers, Matt (Melissa) Bodah and Andy (Michaell Ann ‘Bug’) Bodah; by her husband’s family, brothers-in-law, Bob Redwine, Don Redwine, and Hoyt Redwine and sisters-in-law, Lorene Terry and Dixie Sandafur; grandsons, Caidrian, Casey, and Zaylan; numerous nieces and nephews; and by special friends Kim Baker and Tony Perry. Nan’s family wishes to thank her precious caregivers, especially the staff of Royal Park Care Center for the compassionate care shown during her last days.
