Richard M. Jamison Born: January 12, 1936Passed: September 2, 2013 Richard M. “Dik” Jamison passed away comfortably, surrounded family and loved ones after a battle with cancer and heart disease. He was 77. Richard was a 39 year resident of Spokane. He was born in the small town of Wendell, in Southern Idaho. He graduated from Clarkston High School in 1954, and went on to college at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Id. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Commercial Art, which he used throughout his career. Dik was a Christian, and a member of the LDS Church. He was also active in the Shriner’s concert band and served as the band’s president for two years. He was also active in the Eagles band. He loved movies, Clive Cussler novels, boating, water skiing and just being with his family. He is survived by his wife, Ginger Lee, his former-wife Helen, and their combined children including sons Jeff and Ken Jamison, and daughter Jill Nelson, and their spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren; his step-sons Tom, Tim and Todd Richardson, and step daughter Ginalee Siler, their spouses, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 6th at 11:00 AM at the LDS chapel located at 5322 N. Evergreen Rd, Spokane Valley, WA 99216.
