Robert (Bob) L. Fish passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 8, 2013, at the age of 73. He was on a goose hunting trip with family and friends in Warner, AB, Canada. Bob was born in Great Falls, MT on May 21, 1940 to Arthur and Marie Fish. He attended school in Raynesford, Stanford, and Great Falls, MT and graduated from high school in Moses Lake, WA in 1958. He attended college in Missoula, MT and Ellensburg, WA. In 1960, he joined the Navy and was an Electronics Technician. After leaving the Navy, Bob joined his dad at A & B Meats, a retail/wholesale meat business, in Burien, WA and Moses Lake, WA until 1984. He tried his hand as the owner of an athletic club for a few months before he returned to the meat business. Bob was in the meat business well over 37 years until he retired in May of 2002. He especially loved fishing, hunting, golf, and spent much of his retirement enjoying those sports. He also freelanced as a consultant to Churchill’s, as the house “Master Meat Cutter”. Bob is survived by Norma, his wife and friend of 51 years; daughter, Susan (David) Philen; granddaughters, Nicole (Josh) Bittner and Andrea (Jeremy) Lester; great granddaughters, Charlie and Tayler Bittner. Bob’s memorial service will be held on September 19, 2013 at Riplinger Funeral Home and Crematory 4305 N. Division Spokane, WA beginning at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the American Heart Association.
