Loren Lloyd Guffin

Was born on April 23, 1955 and he passed away on December 9, 2013 in Phoenix, AZ, after a short illness. Loren was raised in Spokane and Chattaroy. After graduating from Riverside High School in 1974, Loren entered the US Army. After completing 11 years of service, he along with his wife, Lorna, moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1993. Loren worked for Maricopa County Protective Services as an armed security officer for 11 years. He loved his job, his bosses, and his fellow officers. Loren enjoyed going to work every day until he became very ill. Loren leaves behind his loving wife, Lorna; daughter, Jessica; two grandchildren. Also surviving are his parents, Leonard and Marion Guffin; sister, Denise Guffin and Wayne; brother, Randy Guffin; brother, Tony and wife Susan Guffin; Aunt Juanita and Bob D'ewart; Aunt Sharon and Uncle Charles Pruett; Aunt Carol and Uncle Jim Newell; Aunt Karen and Uncle Frank Cronin, parents-in-law, Lamberto, Sr. and Lolita Joson; brother-in-law, Lamberto Joson, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Lillian Vergara, Liza Arceo, Lota Ponce, Lourdes, Leila, Jigs, and Loretta Joson; nieces, Lacey and husband Jake Marks, Krista and Richard Poor, Maria, Paden and husband Jason Schill; nephews,Curran Beardslee, Shelby and wife Heather Beardslee; numerous cousins. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 Noon on Monday, December 16, 2013 at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY 4305 N DIVISION SPOKANE, WA followed by interment at Spokane Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 1:30PM.
