Justine Ackerman

ACKERMAN, Justine (Age 101) - Born on November 29, 1912 in Alta, North Dakota; entered into rest on December 22, 2013 in Newport, Washington. Justine worked as a gift wrapper for the Cresent Department Store for many years before retiring in 1987. She was involved with the Spokane Senior Center where she helped run the Bingo part for 20 years. Her hobbies included crochet and bingo. Justine is survived by her daughter, Ruth Lee of Newport, WA; nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew; and daughters, Betty May Zielke and Linda Marie Sautter. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:00am - 5:00pm at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 1:00 pm at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 4305 N. DIVISION, SPOKANE, WA. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, Spokane, WA.
