BERRY, Norma Gene –(age 82) – Entered into rest on June 20th, 2014 at Good Samaritan Society in Spokane Valley, WA. Born on December 27, 1931 in Cisco, UT to Robert and Golden Wood, Norma went on to graduate from White Pine High School in Ely, Nevada. She married Marvin Berry on June 15, 1954. During their life together, they were on and off again residents of Spokane, as Marvin was transferred to and from Fairchild and other Air Force Bases. Upon retirement, they made Spokane home. Norma worked for Administration and Clerical Depts. of Hanford Nuclear Administration, retiring in 1993. Her hobbies included camping, playing cards, playing games, playing cards, taking photos, and did we mention, playing cards. She loved and enjoyed her family and friends. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin, in 1993, and by her son, Kevin, in 2003. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Lance McCulley of Liberty Lake, WA; grandchildren, Karsen McCulley, Shani, Kevin, and Brooke(Aeberhard) Berry; three great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Margie Reid of Richland, WA, Melba (Eddie) Mitchell of Richland, WA, Donna Bogut of Deer Park, WA, Roy (Gladys) Wood of Brea, CA, and Keith (Patsy) Wood of Boardman, OR; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service honoring her life will be held on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME, 4305 N DIVISION, SPOKANE, WA 99207. The family suggests memorials be made to the Good Samaritan Society, 17121 E 8th Ave, Spokane Valley, WA 99016.
