Kim D. Nechanicky

NECHANICKY, Kim DeAnn (Age 58) Passed away on September 7, 2014 at her home in Des Moines, WA. Kim was born on December 27, 1955 in Spokane, WA to James T. and Phyllis B. Nechanicky. Daughter to a Navy man, Kim experienced schooling in Spokane, San Diego, and Hawaii before graduating from Radford High School in Hawaii in 1973. After high school, Kim began a 40+ year career in the transportation industry, living in Hawaii and Orlando before settling in the Seattle area. She worked a variety of positions in both domestic and international arenas. Kim found her soul mate and married Russell J. Lent in Prague in October 2007. Kim is survived by her husband, Russ Lent and her father, Jim Nechanicky. She was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Nechanicky. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 3:00 pm at the Open Door Congregational Church, 205 North Main St., Deer Park, WA 99006. Kim will be laid to rest on Monday, September 15, 2014 at 2:30 pm at Fairmount Memorial Park Cemetery, 5200 W. Wellesley Ave., Spokane, WA. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
