Hauff, Joseph F. (Age 77) Joseph entered into rest on November 2, 2014 in Spokane. He had been a resident of Spokane for over 25 years. Joe attended Cummins Specialty Training and he excelled in his trade as a diesel mechanic, crane and rigging operations while working in both Spokane and the Tri-Cities. He also drove truck and was a heavy duty crane mechanic. Joe retired in 1999. He was a member of the Western States Operation Engineers for over 30 years. Joe enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, fishing, hunting, plowing snow, working in the garden, and raising pigs. He is preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Alice, who passed away in 2011. Joe is survived by children, Doug M Hauff of New Strawn, KS, Cindy Majeski of Spokane, Eddy Hauff of Phoenix, AZ, Scott Hauff of Spokane, Darold Hauff of Deer Park, WA, Charles Volk of Spokane Valley, Wilbert Kuntz of Bismarck, ND, Col. Gordon Kuntz of Hayes, KS, Ronald Kuntz of Anoka, MN, Len Kuntz of Snohomish, WA; 21 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday, and Thursday November 5 and 6th at Riplinger Funeral Home 4305 N Division Spokane, WA from 9:00AM – 8:00PM. Interment will begin at 9:00AM Friday, November 7, 2014 at Greenwood Memorial Terrace Cemetery, followed by a memorial service to celebrate Joseph’s life at Riplinger Funeral Home beginning at 10:30AM.
