RYAN, Beatrice “Bea” A. (age 88) Beatrice passed away June 10, 2015 in Spokane, Washington. She was born in Spokane to Erastus and Maude (McNeil) Rector on June 18, 1926. She graduated from North Central High School. Beatrice began her career working for several doctors before joining Lawton Printing as a typesetter, retiring in 1988. In retirement she enjoyed volunteer work for the Shrine Hospital for Children and the Spokane Guilds’ School and Neuromuscular Center. Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, James Ryan; her parents Erastus and Maude Rector; sisters Viola Pool and Blanche Lawton; brothers Rex, Bill, Floyd, Donald, Roderick, and Kenneth Rector. Beatrice is survived by her sons Jim and Bill; nieces Donna Jean Waller, Gail (Steve) Quaid, Sharon (Tom) Talarico, Janet (Dale) Stacy and Pamela Rector; nephews Ronald (Nancy) Rector, Jack Rector, Larry (Peggy) Pool, Jim (Gloria) Rector, Gary (Carol) Lawton, and Raymond (Caryl) Lawton; dear friends Richard and Mary Schroeder and Carla White. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 17 from 9:00am – 5:00pm at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME 4305 N DIVISION SPOKANE, WA and on Thursday, from 9:00am through the Rosary service. The Rosary service will be held at Riplinger Funeral Home on Thursday, June 18, at 7pm. The funeral mass will be held at Assumption of the Blessed Mary Catholic Church on Friday, June 19, at 1:30pm with graveside service at Holy Cross Cemetery. There will be a reception to following back at Assumption.
