PETERSON, Sandra Lee (age 65)- Joined her Lord and Savior on Good Friday, April 10, 2009. Born in Eugene, Oregon to Arlo and Myrna (Jensen) Kerr on January 10th, 1944, Sandy moved with her family to Spokane at the age of 9 years old. She attended Whitman Elementary and graduated from Shadle Park High School. Sandy worked in the Downtown office of Pacific NW Bell Telephone for 18 years. She was quite an accomplished seamtress. A strong Christian, Sandy loved the Lord and her family. She is survived by her daughter , Tanya Knauft (Jason) of Spokane; a son, Darrin (Amanda) Peterson and grandchildren, Gabriel and Regan, all of Spokane; her mother, Myrna Kerr of Spokane; her brother, Ken (Billie) Kerr of Spokane; her sister, Linda Kuhns of Florida; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Arlo Kerr. “Although Sandy’s body was compromised, her spirit never was. She lived her life in the joy of the Lord and with a great sense of humor.” Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 18th, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Chapel, 511 W. Hastings Rd. Spokane, WA with Pastor Ken Ortiz officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Inland NW Chapter, 818 E. Sharp, Spokane, WA 99202-1935.
