ELDREDGE, Dennis M. Denny Eldredge, a beloved man to so many received his promotion to heaven last Wednesday. He was a man who many described as warm and loving. He was an instant friend to all who met him and all who knew him, loved him. Denny began his life journey on February 24, 1943 born to parents Howard and Evelyn Eldredge, both of Spokane. Denny was a veteran of the auto industry and retired from Wendle Ford after 26 years of service. He cherished that time, the friendships and memories that lived with him until the end. Denny had two great passions in life; his family and the open road. Nothing excited him more than riding his motorcycle and we are sure he is back riding through the winding mountain roads he loved so much. He was also an amazingly nurturing father who believed that his children were the best things to ever happen to him. "He believed that it did not matter what a person's purpose in life was, as long as they lived with love, passion, and integrity. He made me want to be a better man", said son Jason. Denny also enjoyed snow skiing, boating, spending time outside, keeping his motorcycle in tip top shape, spoiling our fur babies, classic rock music, walks, watching the History Channel and cold beer. Denny had a contagious smile, sparkling blue eyes and an incredible sense of humor. He often said he felt like the luckiest man on earth, blessed with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed and forever loved by his wife, Midge, son Jason, daughter Samantha, numerous brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. In honor of Denny’s wishes there will be no service at this time. The family invites you to join us for “Denny’s Last Ride” as we spread his ashes at some of his favorite destinations. This will begin with a local outdoor celebration sometime this summer. If you would like to join us please email dennyslastride@outlook.com for more information and details. Family requests in lieu of flowers a donation in Denny’s honor to Camp Stix https://www.campstix.org A special thank you and appreciation to the amazing staff at Sullivan Park Care Center 6 south and Dr David Fischer.
