Eural Etta Mae Nelson

NELSON, Eursal (Goodlake)(Age 86) Eursal passed away from lung cancer on May 8, 2009, in Spokane, WA at the Hospice House. She was born in Wilbur, WA, November 3, 1922 to Edward (Bud) and Hazel Goodlake. She worked in the shipyards during WWII, and later as a waitress at Grand Coulee Dam, where she met her husband of 45 years, Morrie Nelson. They lived in Spokane and had two children. Eursal was proceeded in death by her husband and one brother and is survived by her son Gordon, daughter, Janet VanDyke and husband Jim, three grandchildren, Eryn Ward and husband Tyler, Ashley Krapko and Michael Krapko, and one great grandson, Evan Cramer. She is also survived by eight siblings and their spouses, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends. Donations can be made to Hospice of Spokane. Viewing at Riplinger Funeral Home, 4305 N. Division, Tuesday and Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, on Thursday, May 14 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow at Riverside Mausoleum.
