Theophil P. Kleweno Born in Colfax on Dec. 21, 1911 to Phillip and Magdalena Kleweno. Went home with God on May 10, 2009. Preceded in death by his wife, Barbara. Survived by daughters, Kathleen Barry (Richard) and Eleanor Dickey; and sons, William, Pete (Nancy), and John; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and his good friend, Mary Hurst. Theophil was a man of many skills including farming, meat cutting, and carpentry. He was a man of the earth. He loved his family and his close friends; he loved all animals; and he loved to fish and teach others how. He worked hard to provide for his family and retired from Kaiser Trentwood in 1975. Special apprciation to all the care providers who helped him in his last difficult year of life, especially those at Sacred Heart, St. Josephs Care Center, Nera's, Moran Vista Assisted Living and Hospice of Spokane. Private graveside services at Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial service to be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Spokane Humane Society or charity of choice are appreciated.
