Miller, Marguerite (Kincaid) (Age 78) Marguerite “Maggie” Miller passed away peacefully on June 7, 2009 in Spokane. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Raymond, in 2001. Maggie was born November 4, 1930 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, moved to Sandpoint, Idaho and later to Spokane where she resided until her death. A graduate of North Central H.S. (1948) and Eastern Washington School of Education (1952), Maggie taught in the Spokane area for over 30 years at Columbia, Audubon and Wilson Elementary Schools. She was an active member of New Beginnings Christian Church and Alpha Delta Kappa (ADK). She enjoyed painting, the outdoors, and traveling. Maggie is survived by her children Karen Howard (Terry) of Puyallup, Eric (Carla) of Olympia, Craig (Betty) of Lacey and Cary (Ingrid) of Spokane, and eight grandchildren Andrew, Melissa, Ryan, Gregory, Dustin, Emma, Garrett and Kaarina. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial gifts be sent to Hospice House of Spokane (367 E. 7th Ave., Spokane 99202) or New Beginnings Christian Church (P.O. Box 48538, Spokane 99228). Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 29th at Riplinger Funeral Home, 4305 N. Division at 2:00 pm.
