Beloved husband, father, brother, "Grandpa", nephew, cousin, and friend. Died July 26th at age 70 surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Spokane, moved to Avery and St. Maries area in ‘46, moved to Spokane in '57, graduated Mead HS '63, received Machinist Degree in '65, retired from Kaiser Trentwood after 32 yrs., Coast Guard Reserve veteran for 6 yrs. He joked with his wife, Sally, of 28 yrs, "Survived Cancer, Killed by Dirt" due to his 12 successful years of battling cancer and a brief battle with a lung disease caused by a bacteria within the dirt. Along with his sense of humor, Terry was an avid pool player, snowmobiler, Coca-Cola connoisseur, boater, traveler, camper, and great storyteller. His favorite places were Avery, ID and the St. Joe River. Preceded in death by his parents Robin & Willmyrth (Shaw) Stratton of Mead, WA. Survived by love of his life wife, Sally Stratton; daughter, Amy Kells (children Mikala, Aiden, Emelia, & Liam); son David Silver (children Zakary & Cailen); sister-in law, Betsy Adkins; sister, Barbara Nichols (Mike) and Barbara’s son David White; and a large extended family including friends and admirers. Funeral service held, Sunday, July 31st, at 1:00pm at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME, 4305 N. DIVISION, SPOKANE, WA with reception to follow at 4108 E Farwell, Mead. Graveside service will be held, Monday, August 1st, at 3:00pm at Peone Cemetery.
