James G. Burchett

BURCHETT, James “Jim” – Beloved husband, father and grandpa, passed away on August 28th, 2016 after a short but brave battle with cancer. Jim was born in Spokane, WA on August 25, 1942 to Clarence and Martha Burchett (both deceased). He attended Mead Schools. Jim married Rosanne Morgan on October 10, 1969. They had one daughter, Aundria in 1970. Jim spent his entire life on the farm, raising wheat and barley, later adding hay to the mix. In the 80’s they decided to start raising cattle. Over 30 years of hard work and lots of cold nights in the barn. He dearly loved his cows. Jim was a friendly man when approached. A few years ago he finally leased most of his farm ground. His passion these days were his two grandkids, Sheldon (19) and Madison (17). They took lots of trips scouting out other farms. This was so unexpected, we will miss him so much! He leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Rosanne; daughter, Aundria (Kevin) Whitcraft; and grandchildren, Sheldon and Madison. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 11: 00 a.m. at Grace Church of Deer Park, 502 S. Colville Rd., Deer Park, WA 99006.
