Anastasio, Linda Marie (Yeats) (Age 60) - Loving wife and mother passed away on July 7, 2009 at the Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon after battling complications from a liver transplant. Linda was born in Spokane, WA on July 22, 1948 to John T. and Tressia M. Yeats. She married her soulmate Bryan F. Anastasio on November 20, 1971 and gave birth to her loving daughter, Anna Marie K. Anastasio on February 19, 1974. Linda attended Lidgerwood and St. Francis Xavier Elementary. She graduated from Marycliff High School in 1966. She received her teaching degree from Whitworth College, while working for US West Communications, retiring with 28 years. Her love was in teaching and she spent the past 8 years working with special needs preschoolers. Linda was very warm hearted and giving in every aspect of her life, with children being her main focus. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years Bryan; her daughter, Anna Marie Anastasio; parents, John and Tressia Yeats; sisters, Diane Yeats, Kathryn Yeats, Alisa Johnson all of Spokane; numerous cousins; 6 nephews; 1 niece; 3 great nieces; and 2 great nephews. A rosary will be on Monday, July 13, 2009 at 7:00PM at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME, 4305 N. Division Spokane, WA. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at St. Francis Xavier Church, 3715 N. Standard. A graveside committal will immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
