Jeremiah Joseph Shissler

We are sad to announce the passing into heaven of our beloved son and brother Jeremiah Joseph Shissler on 7-23-09. He was born in Blue Earth, Minnesota on 2-23-1974. He lived in Portland, OR until he graduated from Gresham High School in 1992. After living in various cities, he moved to Spokane, WA to be with his immediate family. In the five years he lived in Spokane, he became very close to his mother and they supported each other. Despite many life obstacles, he grew to live a productive life and blessed many others. He loved people very much, and would do anything to help another. He was survived by his mother and father, two brothers and his grandparents. We will be celebrating his life by having a memorial service on Saturday, August 1st at 2pm which will be held at Calvary Chapel, Spokane Valley (16409 E Broadway, Veradale WA 99037). A fund will be started at the church to be divided amongst Joe’s favorite charities. Joe’s desire was to honor God, and his favorite verse that gave him hope was Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you to prosper you and not to harm you to give you future and hope. Joe would be happy to know that he has impacted many people lives in a positive way, and in turn, he would give the glory to God. We feel certain that he is happy now, and we will miss him greatly.
