Lemoyne "Lee" Knox

Lee passed away on December 19, 2016 at home. Born on February 5, 1936 in Spokane and raised by his Mother, Marion (Aubin) Morgan and Step Father, Roy Morgan. Lee graduated from Rogers High School in 1954. He married his love, Arlynne (Denny) on October 3, 1957. He served his country in the US Navy. As he had his First Class Boiler Operator License, Lee worked for 36 years at Carnation Dairy retiring as Chief Engineer. He later worked seven years at Sacred Heart Hospital in the Engineering and Electrical Dept. Lee was a true Bowling enthusiast. And, for many years, he loved salmon fishing at Ilwaco and in the Puget Sound. He was a long time member of the Eagles Lodge. Lee is survived by his wife of 59 years, Arlynne; his daughter, Lori Knox; granddaughters, Kristina Knox and Jennifer Knox-Welch; a brother-in-law, Bob (Angie) Denny; brother, Russell (Joanie) Morgan; sisters, Patty (Gary) Todd, and Barbara (Rob) Kamin; nephews, Rob, Rich, and Ron Denny, Kevin Whittemore, and Lonny Morgan; a niece, Vicki Stevenson; close friends, Jeff and Doreen McVay, and Dan Davis and family. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Riplinger Funeral Home, 4305 N Division, Spokane, WA. Following, there will be a gathering at the Eagles Lodge, 6410 N Lidgerwood, all are invited.
