B. Yvonne McCollim

Yvonne entered eternal peace on August 17, 2009. She was born to Thomas and Lillian Creighton in Spokane, WA on February 6, 1922. She married James R. McCollim March 1, 1942 and they spent 67 years together. Yvonne was a livewire, she loved travel, snowmobiling with the Winter Knights Snowmobile Club, motorcycling, swimming, surfboarding, spending time at their cabin at Thomas Lake, picking huckleberries, and turning them into a mean huckleberry pie. She worked as a bookkeeper for various Spokane businesses after completing her education at Kinman Business College. Yvonne loved and enjoyed her Fairwood Family. She is survived by her husband James R. McCollim; her brother, George Creighton and wife Shirley; her sons, Craig McCollim and wife Terri, Brian McCollim and wife DeeAnn, Les McCollim and wife Kathie; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life for her will be held at Fairwood Village Garden Mall, 312 W. Hastings Rd., Spokane, WA on Saturday, August 22, 2009 from 1 to 3PM.
