Jimmy "Allen" Shelton, son of Maynard and Melvina Shelton was born on February 20, 1942 in Britton, South Dakota. He grew up and attended school in Cogswell, North Dakota graduating in 1960 from Cogswell High School. Allen then attended North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton receiving his degree in auto body repair. He then met his wife Delores and was married in 1963. They went on to have two sons, Wayne and Mike. Allen and Delores moved to Spokane in 1966. He started his business, J&A Body and Fender in 1977 which he owned and operated until 2014 and is currently managed by his sons. Allen is preceded in death by his Parents, his brothers Richard Shelton, Cecil Shelton, and Marvin Shelton. He is survived by his Wife Delores and sons Mike and Wayne as well as numerous step brothers and sisters. Allen’s main passions were spending time fishing, camping, meeting new people as well working on his automobile collection Services will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church at 8441 N. Indian Trail Rd. on Saturday, August 19th at 1 pm.
