Russell David Lewis

Russell D. Lewis passed away peacefully on August 16, 2017 after battling pancreatic cancer. He was born on February 17, 1962 to Verne & Dorothy Lewis. He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Lewis, of 34 years; his son, Rusty Lewis; his daughter, Haley Lewis; his mother Dorothy Lewis and sisters Sandy Cordes, Gayle Smith, Linda Milbrandt and Debbie Heideman. He was preceded in death by his father, Verne Lewis, and several grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Russ graduated from Shadle Park High School in 1980 then began his 32 year career as a dental technician. Most recently he worked for the East Valley School District. Russ was known for his quick wit, his extreme love of biking, and his love and devotion to his family. He will be missed by all, including his grand bunny Ruthy. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 27 at 2:00 PM in the Fireside Lounge at Center Place Regional Event Center which overlooks the Centennial trail where he and Cheryl rode their bikes countless times,(2426 N Discovery Pl, Spokane Valley, WA 99216).
