Leona Vivian Minor

MINOR, Leona V. (Age 95) - Leona was called to be with the Lord shortly after celebrating her 95th Birthday. She grew up in Deer Lodge, Montana & moved to Spokane as a young woman. Leona met & married Jim Minor and was blessed with two sons. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, sister, cousin, aunt & friend. Leona was preceded in death by her parents Albert & Clara Girard, her husband Jim & her son Terry. She is survived by her son Tim Minor, Brother Pat Girard, Daughter-in-law Jody Minor Velasco, grandchildren Angie (Dan) Barcomb, Ryan (Kristen) Minor & Chad Minor, and great grandchildren Lexi & Hunter Barcomb. Leona has been a member of St Francis of Assisi parish for over 60 years. Visitation & the Rosary will be held Monday 11/13 at 7 pm at Riplingers Funeral Home, 4305 N Division, Spokane. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday 11/14 at 10 am at St Francis of Assisi, 4420 N Jefferson St, Spokane. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to St Francis of Assisi Parish or the charity of your choice.
