Ronald Fredrick Steffer

STEFFER, Ronald Frederick (age 64)- Passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017, at his home in Spokane, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Ron was born in La Mesa, California on December 13, 1952. The son of Marie and Walter Bentley, Ron spent his entire career in the military and was a distinguished, decorated, and retired veteran of the Air Force. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 38 years, Dana. He leaves behind one sister, Carol; two children, Benjamin and Patrick Steffer; as well as six grandchildren, Alexander, Sarah, Adam, Matthew, Sophia, and Logan. Ron was dearly loved and will be missed greatly. In lieu of flowers, we would ask that you please make donations to the American Cancer Society so that one-day families may stop losing loved ones due to cancer. At his request, no public service will be held. “Value your time, and think of Ron whenever you wind your clocks.”
