BRESHEARS, David C. (age 85) – Entered into rest on January 9th, 2018 in Spokane, WA, where he had been a resident for over 75 years. Born on Sept 5, 1932, in San Bernadino, CA, to Hoosier and Dorothy (Burns) Breshears, David entered the USMC directly out of high school. He served in Korea, where he was wounded and received a Purple Heart. He retired from the E-Z Loader Trailer Manufacturing plant in Spokane. David was predeceased by his parents and by three brothers, Robert, Howard, and Joe. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Maxine, at their Spokane home; daughters and sons-in-law, Cyndi and Rick Tobias, and, Sherri Jordan and Shane Johnson; a brother, Rodney Paul (Louise) Breshears of Olympia, WA; sister-in-law Jane Breshears; four grandchildren, Chanel (Andy) Hoffman, Chad (Aubrey) Tobias, Salena (Michael) Lewis, and Christian (Candra) Jordan; two great-grandchildren, Hadley Jordan and Griffin Hoffman; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service with military honors will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME, 4305 N DIVISION, SPOKANE, WA.
