The life and times of a remarkable woman. Marjorie Regina Hill Morris was born in Sanders, Idaho January 22, 1922. She met her husband, Ray Morris, in high school in St. Maries, Idaho. They were married in 1941. That same year, she graduated from Northwest Business College in Spokane. Soon after, they went to Portland, Oregon where they worked in the shipyards to support the war effort. After the war, they returned to Spokane. Marjorie worked at Rowles Grocery in downtown Spokane and then in several Spokane businesses as a bookkeeper. She loved to oil paint, ski, fish and camp. She was devoted to her family and loved seeing her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, Sophie and Clarence Hill, her sisters, Helen Hill and Shirley Negretti. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Fullmer, son-in-law, Ernest Fullmer, Jr.; grandchildren Patrick Fullmer (Kristin), Stephanie Fullmer, Raelin Fullmer Finch (George), Joseph Fullmer, and Laura Grissom (Thomas); great grandchildren Hope (Nick), Mikayla, Lily, Samantha, Addyson and Isabel; great great granddaughter, Emma; and her sister, Ida Stemple. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and extended family. A memorial service is planned for a future date. In lieu of flowers please make a gift to your favorite charity or to Hospice of Spokane.
