April 2, 1922 — November 16, 2009

Betty André Boures, a woman of faith, honor and integrity, went to meet her Heavenly Father on November 16, 2009, after a brief illness. Betty was surrounded by her dearest husband of 46 years, William R. "Bill" Boures and her four children: Sally Ann Mauss (Bruce) of Spokane, WA, Craig Naccarato of Salt Lake City, UT, Nancy Rohr of Eatonville, WA, Gregory Boures (Andrea) of Spokane, WA. Other surviving relatives include her beloved sister, Donna Mikel of Chewelah, WA and four nieces. Betty was born on April 2, 1922 in Farmington, UT to Reuel and Eva Steed. She graduated in 1940 from Davis High School in Farmington and then went on to relocate to Salt Lake City, UT and eventually moved to Spokane, WA, where she lived the majority of her life. She worked in various service industries including Playfair Race Track, Riverview Retirement Center, and for many years was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society in their Reach to Recovery program. Grandma Betty is survived by eight grandchildren: Gary, Cory, Heather, Nicci, Brooke, MacKenzie, Olivia, and Sofie. She has six great-grandchildren. She also had many wonderful friends in her life including the"Jack in the Box Gang". Betty had a wonderful sense of humor and treated everyone she met with dignity.
